All current and prospective vendors are required to complete the VIMS registration process to be considered to do business with Chatham County. Benefits of completing this process include:

• Consideration for County contracts in your commodity/service category
• Maintaining your company's profile online
• Eligibility to participate as a subcontractor or joint venture partner on County projects
• If applicable, eligibility to become a Chatham County certified MWBE
• If your company is certified as an MWBE or DBE by another organization, you can upload your certification electronically
• You will receive RFPs or RFQs for which your company may be eligible via electronic mail
• Improving the efficiency of the County Purchasing Department

 
 

In order to complete your registration, you will need the following information:

• Your Company's Contact Information
• Your Company's Tax ID Number (FEIN)
• Your Company's Business License Number
• The Year business started
• A brief description of your Company's products or services
• Your Company's primary business contact
• At least one (1) and up to three (3) business references
• Minority/Woman Owned or Disadvantaged Business Certification Documents (if applicable)
